The previous semester was a very wonderful one, I must say. After tolerating all the hostel fuss, my friends and I have decided to move out to a rented house instead. There, we would have more freedom to move around without the hostel's restrictions. More importantly, no more curfews for our late night outings *Winks*
We had fun. And I mean LOTS OF FUN :) And clearly, studies was left neglected. I FAILED 1 subject and another 2 subjects was VERY close to fail for my mid-term examinations. I was prepared for the worst results for this very semester. I thought that maintaining a 3.3 CGP was good enough for me to secure my 3.5 CGPA when I graduate. Many things went through me as studies were my priority. I vowed for good results in order for me to secure a job post graduation. I was prepared but I know I had to try my very best for my final exams. It was my last hope.
Fortunately, finals went on well for me :) but still, mid-term results were still haunting me. I put studies aside and decided to enjoy the semester break as much as I could.
It was results day. I rang the university's hotline. My results were announce over the telephone. The results? WWeeeEEee~ I did better than 3.3 of course :) On top of that, I managed to add another Dean's List to my collection :) I swear I will never risk my results for fun ever again, at that point of time. (cause I know, I eventually will)
The Dean's List Award Ceremony was held yesterday afternoon. This time around, the feeling of being in the Hall is very different. Previous semesters, it was an award for me to honour my hard work but I felt it was just pure luck who saved me.
